puredata-gui software package provides realtime computer music and graphics system - GUI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install puredata-gui
puredata-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the puredata-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep puredata-gui *
You will get with puredata-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
